i have had my 06 gsxr 1000 for a few months now and its time to start playing with it. im looking for a short slip on muffler such as hotbodies slash cut, voodoo, gytr and so on. i have heard the hotbodies is straight threw and can harm the engine, and i have only seen the gytr on CBR's and R1. i was also told if i dont have enough back pressure it will also be harmful. im not really looking for power gains. any info is appriciated. thanks

GYTR is a Yamaha specific brand...never seen them make anything for anything but Yamaha.

Check out the M4 slip-on and Yosh R55 slip on. They will give a small performance increase, better sound, and good looks. I have seen the Hotbodies and it looks like something off of a ricer civic and does not sound good.

I'm guessing he was seen SideShows CBR retrofitted with a GYTR R6 can.

undertails are nice but im just trying to go with a nice clean shaved look. i have a few tricks up my sleeve in the next few months. now if racefit made that 07 kit for mine i would be all over it.
