Question:
1. When you check the oil (the little glass window in the engine) should it be full when the engine is RUNNING or should it be full when the engine is off?
Mine is full when off but very low when running

2. This weird noise starting coming out of the front, the bike was on jack stands so maybe thats why, idk, just seeing if anyone has any imput.

3. I had just washed my bike, i turned it on, let it warm up, 170*F, and smoke started to come out of the front (only a lil but enough to see it), top of the radiator (i think), is that just soapy water burning up or something else? i imagine if the bike was too heated it would say so but the temp was only at 170

1. The sight glass is useless when the bike is running.

2. It's probably evap steam from the water or did you spray WD-40 on any of the parts. WD 40 looks like smoke when it is being burned off by hot parts.

Should be when bike is off, but level (have someone sit on it), and should be near the middle of the glass window. From what I hear, so long as you have a bubble in the glass your fine.

You shouldn't see much in the window while it's running or on side stand. I can't answer the other questions, sorry.

jimmysal - check your owners manual... on my gixxer that manual states that it should be at the full line of the window when the bike is warmed up and standing up straight. Be careful of over filling b/c then you will have smoke coming from the exhaust.

When the bike is off and level it should only be filled to the line on the glass. Don't bother looking at it when the bike is on. Make sure the bike is level when you do check it.

1. place the motorcycle on level ground on the side stand.
2. start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes.
3.stop the engine and wait three minutes.
4.hold the motorcycle vertically and check the oil level through the oil level inspection window on the right side of the engine. The engine oil level should be between "L" (low) and "F" (full) lines.

Good to see another 750 out there.

Also smoke coming out the front of your bike is normal when it is wet. When I get caught in the rain mines do that all the time. 170 temp is about where it should be at on the highway.
