I just got the Devil Shotgun pipe for my bike yesterday. It is so bad ass. And it is loud. Louder than BMBSHL's too!

LittleNinja went with me to the mall, and she heard it and said it was loud. My neighbors are not to happy, but oh well. I will put up pics tomorrow.

I THINK IM GOING TO BUY A SHOTGUN SETUP AND CUT IT IN HALF AND PUT ONE ON EACH SIDE OF THE BIKE (HIGHMOUNT) WITH A CUSTOM MID PIPE............. THAT WOULD BE BAD ASS LOOKING ON THE 54

Well, I took it to Synergy, and it was pretty lean today. But I am going to get the Power Commander so that will help.

JUST REMEMBER, THE PC (POWER COMMANDER) COMES WITH A STOCK MAP FOR YOUR STOCK BIKE.......... JUST SLAPPING IN THE PC IN WILL DO THE SAME THING ITS DOING NOW.......... ALSO THERE IS NO MAP AVAILABLE FROM DYNO-JET FOR A DEVIL PIPE......... SO, THAT LEAVES, A CUSTOM MAP FROM A SHOP THAT DOES AIR/FUEL TUNING............. I WOULD RECOMEND A CERTIFIED DYNO-JET SHOP ONLY.......... (NOW YOU WILL HEAR DIFFRENT COMMENTS ABOUT THIS) THIS COSTS AROUND $250.00 OR SO............. BUT, I HAD MY BIKE DYNOED BY AN OK SHOP ON THEIR DYNO (NO NAMES :banghead: ) AND I FELT NO INPROVEMENT AT ALL............ Thanks dude. That was a lot of useful info. I know the guy from Synergy, Chris, is certified Dyno Jet and Power Commander. They said that they would make a custom map for my bike since I will be helping them with fabrication and engineering applications. But non the less, very useful info, thank you.

Did they tell you it was running lean? I didn't see them put in the A/F sensor. And, the way the little bit of black smoke was shooting out of the pipe while it was being dynoed, I would have figured it was running rich. Having a power commander and getting it mapped won't completely get rid of the backfiring. you need the Air induction system block off plates (sometimes called AIS or smog block off plates) installed, too. They'll also get rid of a couple of pounds of unnecessary emissions stuff.

For those of you looking to get a Power Commander mapped. I talked to the owner, Chuck Dodd, while I was there. Really nice guy. Anyways, he was explaining to me that they tune each cylinder for maximum gains. And, for the next couple of months, it's only going to cost $125.00 for a custom map!

I'm not sure who would make them for your bike. Just look through the catalogues at work. It'll probably be in the engine section or the Air/intake/exhaust/? section. The company I used only really does Yamaha stuff.
