I am looking into getting a chatterbox. Any advice would be nice. I want to know if it is really worth buying the 5 mile range unit. Will I really need that? How about the org. chatterbox is it as good as the others just less channels? Big price dif. The wife gave me the ok just don't like throwing away money for features I will never use. One more thing do they all work together. If I get the newest one does it work with the oldest one?

yes they all work together.

personally I don't see the need for the 5 mile range. The_B!tch and I have the old ones.

Bish and I got seperated on rid ehome late one night going through the 60, 275, airport abortion.

she got stuck in the exit lane that turns in to boyscout. I told her meet me at the mall thinking she would be right there next to the new mall. instread of getting on 275 I past that ramp and went up to westshore and headed to that mall. Well sinc eI was right next to the westshore mall Bitch thought I ment that mall. I get to the entrance to the new mall and don't see her. I ask where she is on chatter box and she says right in fron ot Maggiano's.

So even those have a good range.
pluss I love being able to plug my MP3 player in to it. it's legal and I don't like earbuds anyway.

Me and two of my buddies just got them again. We got the five mile radius ones just b/c we go different ways home. The plug in for the mp3 player works great. I use to have the old ones and they worked nice, but I really like this one.

Good buy in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. I picked up one for me and one for my neighbor. Thanks to kevin (Big Red) @ Cahill's. By far the best price I found out there. We got the 5 mile range units because Kevin was able to match the 2 mile price. My neighbor and I are testing them on Sunday. We are riding up to Mt Dora. I will have a full review on Monday. We are going to try to put in alot of miles so I hope the power will last.

I have used mine on 4 different nights and I still have most of my battery left. I dont' think you will have any issues. Keep in mind I only used my ipod on it 2 of those times.

Good info...now I'll wait until the new ones come out and then get a killer deal on the "closeout" old ones :)

I don't think I could ride while listening to music. How can you hear the bike? I listen to my revs to shift gears. Or am I just stupid?:dontknow:

stupid youre not young skywalker .....

feel the revs ..... the revs are all around you ..... the revs are what makes up the universe .....

so go young skywalker .... concentrate you will ... let not the outside distractions cloud your instinct .....
